Leisure Centre Cleaning: The People Behind the Member Experience

During a recent site audit, our Area Manager Chelsey spotted two members of the CleanKing team doing exactly what they do best.
Gladys was maintaining the sauna and spa facilities, making sure they looked, felt, and smelled fresh for members throughout the day. In spa environments, cleanliness is about far more than appearance. These are spaces designed for relaxation and wellbeing, and even small details can make a big difference to the member experience.
At the same time, Joseph was hard at work cleaning the men’s shower facilities. Shower areas are some of the busiest spaces within any leisure centre. High levels of moisture and constant use mean they need regular attention to stay hygienic, safe, and pleasant for members.

Gyms, spas, and leisure centres present unique cleaning challenges. Hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of people can use the facilities every week.
